Curious Company captures one of those charming little moments of country life when curiosity gets the better of everyone.
Three farm animals peer through the rails of a weathered wooden fence, each seeming to investigate whoever has wandered into their space. A black-and-white cow leans in from above, a woolly sheep watches from the middle, and another curious face appears just above the lower fence rail.
The close composition and expressive eyes give the painting a playful personality, while the weathered browns of the fence, soft blue background, creamy whites, and deep charcoal tones keep it grounded in a warm rustic palette.
Originally painted by Jana Rae, this digital fine art print preserves the handmade character and visible brushwork of the original acrylic painting, including the artist's signature.
Curious Company is especially suited to farmhouse kitchens, breakfast areas, mudrooms, entryways, living rooms, country homes, cabins, and other relaxed spaces where a little humor and personality are welcome.
