Autumn Chores captures one of those familiar fall moments when the air turns cool, leaves cover the ground, and there is work to be done before winter arrives.
An axe rests against a well-worn chopping block outside an old wooden barn, while cut firewood waits nearby. Deep browns, burnt orange, gold, rust, and crimson fill the scene, giving the painting the warmth and richness of late autumn.
There is a quiet sense of preparation in this piece—the ordinary seasonal work of gathering wood and getting ready for colder days. Rather than presenting autumn as simply decorative, Autumn Chores celebrates the practical rhythms of country life and the beauty found in everyday work.
Originally painted by Jana Rae, this digital fine art print preserves the handmade character and visible brushwork of the original acrylic painting, including the artist's signature.
Its warm, earthy palette makes it especially suited to rustic homes, cabins, farmhouses, kitchens, entryways, living rooms, and autumn-inspired interiors.
