Autumn Among the Birches captures the richness of a woodland at the height of the fall season.
Tall white birch trunks rise through layers of deep forest green, burnt orange, rust, gold, red, and touches of cream. Their pale bark creates a striking contrast against the darker woodland, while loosely painted autumn foliage surrounds the trees with movement and color.
The expressive brushwork gives the scene a wonderfully handmade quality. Rather than depicting every individual leaf, clusters of color suggest a forest filled with changing foliage—the kind of autumn landscape that feels different each time you look at it.
Originally painted by Jana Rae, this digital fine art print preserves the expressive brushwork, visible texture, layered color, and individual character of the original acrylic painting, including the artist's signature.
With its warm woodland palette, Autumn Among the Birches would be beautiful in a living room, entryway, bedroom, dining room, reading nook, cottage, cabin, or any space where you want to bring the warmth of an autumn landscape indoors. Although especially suited to fall decorating, its woodland subject allows it to remain displayed well beyond the season.
