Above the Winter Pines captures the quiet wonder of a winter journey high above the mountains. A lone red gondola travels across a dramatic dark mountain range while snow-covered evergreens gather below, their cool blues and whites standing against a brilliant winter sky.
The small gondola brings a touch of warmth and adventure to the otherwise peaceful landscape. There is a feeling of looking out over a vast, still world—the kind of winter day when the snow seems to soften every sound.
Originally painted by Jana Rae, this digital fine art print preserves the visible brushwork and character of the original acrylic painting, including the artist's signature.
Its rich blues, snowy whites, deep mountain tones, and small accent of red make it especially suited to winter, mountain, ski-lodge, cabin, rustic, and seasonal home décor.
